My very first official snow painting — something I had dreamed of creating for a long time. When I finally painted it, I fell in love with the process and the atmosphere of the work.

This piece is inspired by a photograph I took in December 2022, during one of my first visits home after coming back from Australia. After so much time away, seeing the snowy woods, the frosted trees and the soft snow-covered ground felt almost magical.

Every detail captivated me: the silent winter light, the cold air, the stillness only snowy landscapes can give. Painting this scene let me relive those memories and emotions one more time.

It's a work full of nostalgia, wonder and love for winter nature; I hope it brings a little warmth and joy to whoever looks at it.
