This year brought a truly beautiful winter to Garessio. Nature surprised us with snow, white landscapes, and snow-capped mountains.

Right after the snowfall I took a walk along Trappa Road and captured a beautiful photograph near Santa Maria Maddalena. By the river — the Tanaro — there is a perfect spot with a stunning view of water, land, and mountains.

There is something special about water in winter — the way it turns deep blue and turquoise, with an icy tone of incredible beauty.

With a few small modifications, that photograph became my first finger painting inspired by Garessio.
