REALISM

My idea is to teach the students various simple but same time effective methods of painting with oils with easy to understand, step-by-step instructions through various stages.
Each stage of painting is thoroughly explained including brush, palette reference and various technical notes.
As more paintings are completed, the student’s level of confidence and skills are expanded. Group art classes are meant for those who are interested in learning under guidance. It is for regular students, who would like to have good grounding in basic painting skills. The methods, styles and subjects will vary depending of the student wishes. In this way, the student will gradually evolve their own unique artistic identity and develop their unique personal style.
As the students will be taking their own photos for inspiration, they will be used for creating unique paintings out of them. Paintings will start with drawings and the rest will be adding colours layer-by-layer onto the canvas until the desired result is achieved.

ABSTRACT

Abstract art does not represent an accurate depiction of a visual reality. Instead, shapes are used. In this class you will learn the basics of abstract art. Things what makes abstract art good and interesting – Consistency, Colour, Texture, Meaning, Complexity and Comfort.
It will be an easy going way to learn to express yourself, as you are following your intuition. Painting will be mirroring your inner world.
As my part will be to guide you through on how to make your art complete.
To help you to better understand, I will use photos, examples and texts in this class.
